No score limit and no game over. A fault just restarts the rally.
Two players rally while the third waits at the back wall. The player who loses a rally swaps with the waiting player. Stay out of the way: if the waiting player blocks a shot, the hitter gets the point and the waiter loses one. First to 14. If another player is within one point when someone reaches 14, the target moves to 20.
Each side has two players on court. Your CPU partner covers the other half and takes the ball when it is closer. Play the normal scoring from Options.
Move with the joystick. Push it gently to walk and all the way out to run. Hold a direction as you hit to aim: left or right for a corner, up for a low short ball, down for a high deep one. Hard is a drive. Soft is a drop or lob. Dive (or both buttons) lunges for a ball out of reach.
Turn on Advanced shot buttons in Options for a full set: Drive goes dead straight along the wall, Length lands deep in the back corner, Boast goes off the side wall then the front wall, Drop dies short in the front corner, Hard is a cross-court drive and Soft is a lob. On the wall, D L B P H S mark where each shot will land.
Best of 3 or 5 games is in Options. Doubles puts a CPU partner beside you. Ghost Race shows a see-through copy of your best run. After a rally, press R (or use Replay in the pause menu) to watch it again. Finish games to unlock four more fighters and the golden ball.
Serve from the box, cross court. The ball must hit the front wall above the service line and land behind the short line on the opposite side. Miss and you get one more try. Two faults lose the rally. The receiver can volley the serve or let it bounce once.
Hit the front wall between the red tin at the bottom and the out line at the top. Side and back walls are fine. Return the ball before its second bounce. If you win a rally as the server, you swap boxes and serve again.
With lets on, blocking your opponent's swing replays the point. Standing directly in their way gives them the point.
The Quick set buttons in Options: 11 is modern squash (a point every rally, win by 2), 9 is classic (only the server scores), 3 is a short game, and Pro is best of 5 games to 11.
Blue dot is the bounciest and fastest. Red is a little slower. Yellow is slow. Double yellow is the pro ball: slow, and it barely bounces.
